Just guess.

Thursday, September 04, 2008
Guess how many times in my life I've had a conversation about which day's newspaper has the highest readership? Oh, does it matter that we actually have circulation figures that prove which day is sold the most? Ooooh, no. Which day's paper gets read the most is the question.

See, in Toronto, I'd guess that the Metro is the most read newspaper, given that it:

1) Is free
2) Is available in every Subway station, and near every other newspaper box.
3) Is left on subway cars/buses/streetcars/desks at work for someone else to read once you have finished it and have done the Sudoku and relatively easy, but still pleasing crossword puzzle.

That waste of ink is no newspaper.

The question was which day's newspaper is read the most, not which newspaper.
A rather telling post I'd say.
