I KNIT A SOCK.

(This isn't a big deal to those of you who don't knit, but dude. Socks are intimidating!)

Dude, even (or perhaps especially) for incompetent ninny non-knitters like me, this is a HUGE deal! Awesome sock!

Hey, that sock actually looks pretty snazzy! I mean, it fits your foot!! I had an image of a lumpy sock that would end up sagging around the ankles.

Score one for Team Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse.

not you too! my mom started with one sock... and now it's an unrelenting barrage of "i can knit you a pair you know. how about i knit you a pair. do you want me to knit you a pair?"

Thanks peeps!

And I'll take that as a you don't want me to knit you a pair of socks, right, PatZ?

she knitted me a scarf last year. and without a word of a lie, when she was done and held it up, it was like 12 feet long. have you ever tried to wear a scarf that's 12 feet long? AND made of thick wool? it's probably exactly how you;d imagine it would be.

You seriously rock. I have done a sock. Then I got bored and moved on. So now I have a bit of yarn in my stash and a lonely sock. I wish you could knit two at once.

Yay congrats!!

I've been working on my crocheting, but haven't quite made it into the knitting world yet.

Erin B: You CAN knit two socks at once!
